I've been asked to pass this on..... Edward

-------- Original Message --------

A few months ago I attended one of your meetings at the Lawrence Library. I
was the one about to roll out 100 Kubuntu laptops to my company for office
and product platform use. Things went well and now I'm attempting to start a
local non-profit specifically to use some of the knowledge I obtained to
help the community. Open Opportunities will accept donated computers to be
refurbished and given freely to low income individuals and the schools and
organizations which serve them.

I am evaluating distros now but am focused primarily on Kubuntu, Ubuntu,
OpenGEU, gOS, and Elive. Do you think, when I get a bit further along, any
of your members might be interested in donating some of their time for a
good cause?

Thank you in advance for your reply,
Scott Sanicki
