No, I don't think that is the problem.
But I just noticed in the mouse manual that when powered up,
a green led should light up on the base of the mouse. I get
the red "laser" lighting up, but not the green led.
Is your bluetooth mouse (or anyone else's) a Logitech V270?
Can you confirm that a green led should easily be visible?
