skills to support the world-class High Performance Computing (HPC) systems
used by NOAA for climate research.

This is a rare opportunity to utilize world-class supercomputing systems and
be on a team with some of the best and brightest in climate science and high

You will be utilizing large cutting-edge parallel supercomputers which are
continuously being upgraded and replaced with better, faster machines.

Required:

Bachelors degree and 2+ years experience. Strong Unix and shell scripting
skills, and strong communication skills are required, and the candidate must
have the ability to execute technical engineering projects as a team player.


Desired:

mysql, Perl, C, Experience with the implementation and operation of High
Performance Computing (HPC) systems, clusters, or large multi-user systems (
e.g. SGI, Cray, IBM, Sun, or HP), AIX, Grid Engine, Moab, or other
schedulers, CXFS and DMF, MPI, Fortran, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DDN and Sun
Storage Systems / STK, LDAP, DNS, BIND, Posfix, SAN switches, Fiber Channel
and SATA disk, automated tape storage.
