I don't know anything about this, but I figured it might be interesting

Dear Edward:

I would be very grateful if you could share this contract opening with
others in your Linux Users Group. We are looking to fill it immediately.

I wanted to take this opportunity to network with you on an contract we
(Advanced Decisions) are looking to fill immediately for a UI Embedded
Developer with C++, embedded linux and objective oriented design
experience, as well as familiarity with Graphics at the Frame Buffer level.

The position is in Wallingford, CT and the client is interested in local
candidates; however, individuals willing to relocate for the contract
duration on their own will be considered.

The client needs a mid-level developer to work on the user interface for
a medical instrumentation project. The UI uses a 4.3'' touch screen and
cap sense technology (like iPhone). This individual will also be
involved with I/O communications (Analog, 10/100 LAN, USB, RS232)

Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card

Specific Skills:

 C++ experience and Object Oriented Design experience, Embedded Linux,
and familiarity with Graphics at the Frame Buffer level.
 The programmer will write a Graphics API Library.
 The work is to be done on site.
 Uses Atmel32 development studio on Linux platform

Contract length is initially 3 months, but it could be extended another
3 months

If this assignment is of interest, please email your resume immediately
as a Word document attachment (.doc versus .docx) to Karla Hammond:

karlahammond at sbcglobal.net; 860-267-2690

If it isn't but you can suggest anyone else with whom I can network - I
would really appreciate that.

Thank you.

Karla
