This month's meeting will be less technical, more philosophical.
What's the biggest problem facing system administrators? Is it the
vendors? The managers? The tools? Is it us? (nah, it couldn't be
us! Must be the tools). Scaling? The inconsistant syntax of Perl?
It probably isn't any one thing.
Tom will facilitate a group discussion. Hopefully we'll learn
something about our technology and ourselves.
P.S. There will be a demonstration of the conference registration
website. We need a few volunteers to bring their credit cards to help
us in the demonstration. Cash also accepted.
LOPSA-NJ is an organization in New Jersey formed to transfer
professional knowledge among system administrators. LOPSA-NJ is not
affiliated with any particular hardware or software vendor or company.
Everyone is invited!
